What Methods of Payment Do You Accept?

We take cash, cheque or credit card payment. We can also accept Interac debit cards or e-payment to our email address. Full payment is due once we finish the job, before we leave. For larger jobs that require multiple loads, such as a full house clearance, we require a 50% deposit before we start work, with the balance payable on completion. Prices are subject to HST. For regular or larger commercial clients, we can arrange invoice payment with standard 30-day net terms.

Do You Carry Equipment or Tools?

Yes, we come fully equipped with garbage bins, brooms, shovels and rakes for cleanup. We also generally have all necessary hand and power tools onboard just in case so we can cope with pretty well anything. ‘Come Prepared’ is our motto!

What Services Do You Offer?

JunkXS offers full service junk removal for home owners or businesses. We also offer light demolition and removal – for example that old shed or garage in your garden that needs to go, we will take it down and remove it. We do commercial property litter cleanup, appliance removal, hot tub removal, deceased estate cleanout, move-in / move-out cleanouts, garage cleanouts, house or apartment cleanouts, hoarder cleanouts, shed demolition, deck demolition – you name it, we most likely do it if it involves junk! How Much Does Junk Removal Cost?

To keep it simple, we charge based on load size. As a guide, our minimum load is $100 which would be something like a single appliance or a love seat or couch. Hot tub removal and disposal generally runs at around $400-$600. Full service demolition, removal and disposal of a regular sized shed is generally around $650-1,000.

Prices given are guideline only – charges will vary due to factors such as what the junk consists of, and where it is located. In all cases, we will agree an exact price with you before we move any junk, so you know what you’re paying and there’s no nasty surprises. Do You Rent Bins?

Not at this time, sorry – it might be something we do in future, but for now we stick to hauling junk.

Do You Offer Litter Picking and Lot Cleanup Services?

Yes – for commercial properties, such as strip malls, small office complexes, gas stations, stores etc. we offer litter picking services – we can do this on a one-off basis or as a regular service according to your needs. Do You Load The Junk?

Yes we load your junk, you can relax, have a coffee and just point at things you no longer want. We do the rest!

What Areas Do You Service?

We operate in the whole Greater Toronto Area! We are based in Etobicoke and service Etobicoke, North York, Brampton, Port Credit, Oakville, Mississauga and beyond. If you’re further away send us an email and we’ll let you know if we can help.

What Junk Can You Remove?

Pretty much anything you can think of around the average home or office! Here’s a list of common junk, but don’t worry, if you have stuff not on the list the chances are we can still take it. The only things we can’t remove are items classed as hazardous waste such as open cans of paint, aerosol cans, propane tanks, asbestos – if you think your junk might be in this category, please contact us to make sure.

What Items Can’t You Take?

Like most junk removal services, we can’t take hazardous waste such as cans of paint, gas cylinders, aerosol cans, asbestos waste or concrete.

Do I Have to Pay Disposal Fee’s?

No, any dumping or disposal fees are paid by us. You pay the price we agree on before we remove your junk and that’s it – no nasty surprises, hidden extra’s, fee’s or other nonsense.

What Do You Do With All The Junk You Remove?

When we started JunkXS one of our goals was to divert as much junk as we could away from land fill sites around our beautiful city. Wherever possible we try to recycle or donate items that still work or could be useful to someone. Our pet hate is to see something like a perfectly good kids bicycle end up in the land fill. We donate usable items to Habitat for Humanity Re-Store and the Salvation Army wherever possible. Our estimate is that around 60% of the junk we pick up is either recycled or donated. We are always looking for ways to raise this number.

When Can You Come and Take My Junk?

We will always try and accommodate our customers busy schedule! Our normal hours of operation are typically 8am – 8pm but if you’re having a junk-mergency we may be able to help you outside of these hours. We operate 7 days a week and sometimes even on holidays :) Contact us with your needs and we’ll try and help you.

Do You Offer Same Day Junk Removal?

Yes, we can operate on a same-day basis – but obviously it depends on how busy we are and where you are in the city. As a rule we’re often booked 2-3 days out, but the case of a junk-mergency we’ll always try and make time. Get in contact with us and we’ll always do our best to help you out!
